his little Chinese joint is across the street from my apartment and I’ve been a fan since it opened! It’s reliably tasty — the General Tso’s chicken & black bean chicken are always a hit. I’ve had a few other dishes and they’ve all been tasty, but I always return to these faves. Vegetarian fare I’ve tried here has also been decent. I also love the wontons and the freshly made sweet and sour sauce that comes with them, mmm! I agree with the other viewers, there is some variation depending on the day, but overall it’s reliable, reasonable and tasty, and the staff is always friendly. It’s always ready in 10 minutes, to boot!”
rguably the most pleasant delivery system for the Pentagon City area! If you find it on Yelp and want to order for delivery but don’t have a menu, no problem, their website has their menu broken down in an easy to order manner. My wife and I love it, we highly recommend it!”
ome co-workers and I always go for the lunch special, this is by far the best Chinese take out in Northern Virginia and probably the best I’ve ever had. Everything is always cooked great and is a perfect portion, even for two! Definite A+.”
his place saves us when we both get home and are too exhausted to even open the refrigerator, much less think of cooking. I usually order the steamed shrimp with vegetables and never get tired of it. Always flavorful. All the soups are great as well as most appetizers. Delivery is always quick and friendly. I’d give 5 stars, but we did order a lo-mein once and it wasn’t as good as the other dishes we had.
Overall – great little place. Probably will order tonight. :)
I’m editing my review to 5 stars because we’ve tried many more dishes since and they are great. Nothing like some basil shrimp on a cold night. I’ll miss this place when we move…”
ou put this stuff on a fancy plate and serve it with a cloth napkin and it could pass for Chinese food at a far more expensive joint. I’ve ordered from here for years. In fact, they are on my cell phone contacts. The delivery is very reliable, quick (they say 45 mins, but it’s usually 20 if you are in Pentagon city) and the delivery guys are awesome. The best stuff: basil fried rice, fried pork buns, eggplant in spicy sauce and of course, General Tso’s Chicken. We also love the soups, especially the beef noodle soup that is perfect on a cold Virginia day. Is this “authentic Chinese” food? Probably not, but honestly I could care less with subjective standards of “authenticity.” At the end of the day it’s definitely a great place to deliver to your home and get some great food.”
